Winner of the 2007 National Prize in Music Composition awarded by Ministry of Culture of Colombia, Jairo Duarte-López has been increasingly recognized for his work in Concert Music and Music for Visual Media.
Mr. Duarte-López is currently pursuing his PhD in Composition at the Eastman School of Music, where he serves as co-instructor of Film Scoring Techniques for the Department of Jazz Studies and Contemporary Media.
