Winner of the 2007 National Prize in Music Composition awarded by Ministry of Culture of Colombia, Jairo Duarte-López has been increasingly recognized for his work in concert music and music for visual media.
Mr. Duarte-López is currently pursuing his PhD in Composition at the Eastman School of Music.
